My friend Jenny suggested the other day that in addition to redistributing money, maybe we could help pass on other items that people don't need. So I thought, Ok, we'll give this a test run. There is a program she knows about that takes old backpacks and gives them to the homeless. I have to get more details, but if anyone else has interest in this let me know. Afterall, the whole point of this site is helping people in need in a very open-ended way. If anyone would like to do this I'll arrange something.
